Wine is a project started by nature and completed by man.

Altitude ranging between 200 and 350 meters, sunlit rolling hills, flysch, and microclimate create a unique whole in which we create the prerequisites for the most fruitful grapevines.

At this altitude, the temperature and structure of the soil are in perfect harmony. By handpicking grapes we ensure that only the highest quality fruit turns into wine.

The whole process from grape cultivation to wine production is done under the watchful eye of oenologist Patrik Sinković, who created the prerequisites for ongoing and recognised quality.

Istria is a place where different cultural and natural elements meet. Although it extends over three countries (Slovenia, Italy, and Croatia), its geological composition is more versatile than anywhere else. They say that true inhabitants of Istria only concern themselves with their basement being full of good drops – i.e. golden drops – in autumn.

Istria is a land of good wine, and good wine is the product of high-quality grapevine cultivation and all-year-round hard work.

Our vineyards spread across the hilly area of the north-western part of Croatian Istria, where the soil is composed of alternating layers of marl and sandstone, called flysch. The rain, the sun, and the Mediterranean sea, and even the northern alpine wind in part turn the rock into soil, whose mineral composition is ideal for growing grapevines. They provide a certain distinction and warmth, which makes the wine aromatic and magical.

A stroll through the hills of Momjan reveals the harmonious collaboration between humans and nature, so be sure to view our vineyard hills on your next trip to Istria – the story of top quality wine begins there.
